NGFCU’s for YOUth squirrel mascot finally has a name….
Introducing Stash McCa$h
In April, we held a naming contest to help us find a great name for our new squirrel YOUth savings mascot. This cute critter was developed by long-time member, and very talented illustrator, Dan Dunn.
NGFCU staff reviewed over 500 name submissions from members, but ultimately chose Stash McCa$h, the squirrel that loves to save. The winning name was submitted by Kirk Johnson and his son Gabriel of Melbourne, FL who received a $500 prize.
What a fitting name for our furry friend, right? Stash McCa$h loves to stash away his precious belongings, especially nuts and cash. He might be a nutty rodent, but he’s smart enough to know that an NGFCU YOUth Account is the safest (and most rewarding) place to save cash for a rainy day.
Watch for Stash McCa$h as he reminds all members about the value of saving now and reaping the rewards later. Learn more about him.
