Additional resources for our members recovering from a Natural Disaster


All loans subject to credit approval. Sample payment for Disaster Relief Loan is $43.97 per $1,000 borrowed assuming the lowest rate available and sample payment for Insurance Bridge Loan is $20.10 per $1,000 borrowed assuming the lowest rate available.

State of Emergency - Skip-A-Payment – up to Three Month Option: During a declared state of emergency, members may be approved to skip up to three consecutive monthly payments on eligible loans.
The Skip-a-Pay (SAP) option is applicable to most loans, excluding first mortgages, closed-end second mortgages, and balloon payment loans.
While standard documentation is generally required, exceptions may be considered based on extenuating circumstances. In such cases, the Credit Union may disclose the terms and conditions of the Skip-a-Pay option to the member via phone and the member will be required to electronically sign an agreement via DocuSign.
In addition to the standard Skip-a-Pay requirements, members may be required to submit a letter detailing the nature of their hardship and explaining why this situation is temporary, enabling them to resume full loan payments after the Skip-a-Payment period.
This Skip-a-Pay option is specifically designed for unsecured loans and is available only to members who are victims of an officially declared disaster. To qualify, the member's residence or workplace must be located within a disaster zone designated by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) or declared a "State of Emergency" by local or state officials.
