International Credit Union Day is Thursday, October 21, 2021
International Credit Union (ICU) Day celebrates the spirit of the global credit union movement. ICU Day has been celebrated on the third Thursday of October since 1948. Each year Credit Unions come together to celebrate and raise awareness for what institutions are doing and what it means for the member-owners to have a credit union as their financial partner.
This year’s theme is “Building financial health for a brighter tomorrow.” Credit unions around the world are contributing to a brighter future by working to improve members’ financial well-being. The essence of this commitment is reflected in each credit union’s bylaws and it’s something credit unions have been doing for more than 100 years. Northrop Grumman Federal Credit Union delivers on this commitment with free programs like BALANCE, which provides you with educational tools and resources.
