If you mailed correspondence approximately on or after December 20, 2021 to PO Box 47009, Gardena, CA 90247, your mail may have been stolen. The US Post Office that houses NGFCU’s PO Box was broken into on the morning of December 24, 2021, and NGFCU’s mail was among the correspondence that was stolen.
If you mailed a deposit or loan payment to NGFCU on or after December 20, please take the following actions:
- Please verify that the check was cashed by NGFCU. You can easily do so by logging in to NGFCU online or mobile banking to see if your NGFCU deposit account reflects the amount you deposited by mail, or if your loan account shows your mailed payment. If your check was cashed by NGFCU, then no further action is needed on your part.
- If your check has not been cashed by NGFCU, please contact your financial institution to place a stop payment on your check. Then, please contact NGFCU at 800.633.2848 or memberservices@ngfcu.us so that we can further assist in this matter.
Other important correspondence:
- If you pay your NGFCU loan using another financial institution’s Online Bill Pay service, the payment check may be mailed to NGFCU. If this payment took place approximately on December 20, please contact us so that we can further assist you.
- If you mailed any other important correspondence to NGFCU that was not a deposit or loan payment, including but not limited to account updates, beneficiary forms, applications, or notifications, please contact us.
